                                    Adjunct Faculty

                                    Dr. Leonard E. Bradley
                                    Dr. Bradley provides Tacoma Bible College with extensive academic and practical experience.  He has received a Diploma from Simpson Bible Institute; Bachelors in Biblical Literature from Seattle Pacific University; Masters in Pastoral Services from Multnomah Biblical Seminary; and a Doctorate of Ministries from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  He has served as Senior Pastor at: Bethel Park Evangelical Free Church of Vashon, Washington; High Point Evangelical Covenant Church in Issaquah, Washington; Sylvan Park Bible Church in Spanaway, Washington; and Bonney Lake Community Church in Bonney Lake, Washington.  Dr. Bradley has served on the mission field in Europe and is currently serving interim Pastorates with Village Missions.  Dr. Bradley serves as a volunteer faculty member.

                                    Pastor Herry Darmono
                                    Pastor Darmono received his Master of Arts degree in Urban Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Pastoral Care.  He brings years of practical ministry experience into the classroom, having planted congregations in Indonesia and the United States.  He serves as the Lead Pastor of The Living Christian Church in Mountlake Terrace, WA and is a volunteer member of the TBC faculty.

                                    Mrs. Rebecca Fortin
                                    Mrs. Fortin graduated from Tacoma Bible College with Bachelors in Christian Education and Biblical Studies.  Mrs. Fortin has extensive experience as an educator and serves as a teaching assistant at TBC.  She has successfully taught the Greek Grammar I and Greek Grammar II courses at TBC for more than 10 years, as well as other Christian Education courses. 

                                    Pastor Stan Harding
                                    Pastor Harding’s academic achievements include a Bachelors of Arts with a major in Christian Education from Western Baptist College (now Corbin College) in Salem, Oregon; and a Masters in Christian Education from Chico State University in Chico, California.  Pastor Harding is a valuable volunteer member of the faculty.

                                    Pastor Ed Kelley
                                    Pastor Kelley brings a breadth of Academic and Ministry background to his teaching at Tacoma Bible College.  A published author and sought out Key Note Speaker, he currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Christ’s Church in Federal Way, WA.  His education has earned him an AA in Broadcast Management, a B.Th in Systematic Theology, as well as a Masters of Ministry and a Masters of Theological Studies. 

                                    Pastor Alvin L. Helms
                                    Pastor Helms received Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Communications from Oral Roberts University.  He completed a Masters of Arts – Religion degree from Yale Divinity School.  He has served as senior pastor and recently joined the Tacoma Rescue Mission as their Chief Operations Officer.  He is a volunteer member of Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Mrs. Pam Larkin
                                    Mrs. Larkin serves as a volunteer member of the faculty, with expertise in Education.  She received her Bachelor in Legal Administration from City University, and her Masters in Education from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.  She brings tremendous enthusiasm and a unique personal education style to Tacoma Bible College.  Mrs. Larkin continues to work as a full-time educator while volunteering as a member of the Tacoma Bible College faculty.

                                    Pastor Dan Lloyd
                                    Pastor Lloyd received his Bachelor of Science – Education and Counseling Degree from Biola University.  He then went on to complete a Masters of Art – Marriage and Family Ministries at Talbot Theological Seminary.  Pastor Lloyd has also had extensive studies at the Jerusalem University in Israel where he studied the History and Geography of Israel.  Pastor Lloyd serves as the Senior Pastor of SeaTac Bible Church.  He is a volunteer faculty member of Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Pastor Reginald Overstreet
                                    Pastor Overstreet received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at Clearwater Christian College.  He then completed a Masters of Theology from Northwest Baptist Seminary, where he is now working toward a Doctorate in Ministry.  Pastor Overstreet serves as the Pastor of Small Groups and Adult Ministry at Lake City Community Church and is also a volunteer member of the faculty of Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Mrs. Katie Rodriguez
                                    Mrs. Rodriguez received her Bachelors of Missions Degree from Tacoma Bible College.  She completed TEFL teacher training and certification through the International TEFL Teacher Training Institute.  She served as a missionary in Argentina for four years before returning to Tacoma Bible College as a faculty member.  Mrs. Rodriguez serves as a member of the language department of Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Dr. Richard Spillman
                                    Dr. Spillman holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University.  He currently teaches Computer Science and Engineering at Pacific Lutheran University where he has served as the IVCF advisor for over 20 years.  He has also worked for Boeing and at the University of California, Davis.  He presently serves as pastor of the Downtown Crossing, a church that ministers to the needs of the homeless in Tacoma.  He has been on missions to Mali, the Philippines, and Mozambique.  He has written a book on Job called The Passion of Job and has published articles in a variety of Christian magazines including:  Pray, Holiness Today, Sharing, New Wineskins, Purpose, Halo, Breakthrough Intercessor, and Alliance Life.  He is president of The Kingdom is Near Ministries, an organization dedicated to sending missionary teams to South East Asia.  Dr. Spillman serves as a volunteer faculty member of Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Pastor Garrett Waltz
                                    Serving as the Associate Pastor of Freedom River Outreach in Tacoma, WA, Pastor Waltz brings several years of Urban Ministry experience to bear on his teaching and interaction with TBC’s students.  Having earned a BA in Education as well as an MTS degree, he brings a strong Academic background into the classroom. 

                                    Part Time Faculty

                                    Dr. Paul Dawson
                                    Dr. Dawson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Ministry from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon.  He completed a Masters in Divinity at Brite Divinity School of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas where he also completed his Doctorate of Ministry in Preaching and Biblical Interpretation.  He brings over 26 years of ministry experience to his duties at TBC.  Pastor Dawson serves as the Academic Dean for Tacoma Bible College, as well as a member of the faculty.

                                    Dr. Kenneth Dietrich
                                    Dr. Dietrich’s academic achievements include a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Tacoma Bible College in Tacoma, Washington; a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California-Irvine in Irvine, California; and a Doctorate in Medicine from Louisiana State University Medical Center-New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Dr. Dietrich serves as the President of Tacoma Bible College and is a volunteer faculty member.

                                    Mrs. Avonelle Taylor
                                    An ESL instructor for Tacoma Bible College, Mrs. Taylor engages her students with enthusiasm and passion.  She comes to TBC with a background in Administration and Project Management  as well as Mission Field experience.  She received a BA from City University and holds TESOL Certification from the University of the Nations.

                                    Pastor David Dietrich
                                    Pastor Dietrich received his Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Tacoma Bible College in Tacoma, Washington.  He is currently completing a Masters in Divinity at Luther Rice University.  Pastor Dietrich has served as the Youth Pastor for Valley Bible Church, as the Administrator for Tacoma Bible College, and is a current member of the faculty.

                                    Mrs. Rose Kim
                                    Mrs. Kim’s academic achievements include a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education from Korean National Open University in Korea, and a Masters in Social Welfare from Hannam University in Korea.  Mrs. Kim acquired certification as a teacher and a director; acquired teacher certification and teacher preparation certification in M.I.A Montessori in Washington. She currently serves as the Director of Early Childhood Education at Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Pastor Tom Powell
                                    Pastor Powell’s academic achievements include Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Maryland Bible College & Seminary; a Masters in Ministry from Northwest Baptist Seminary; and a Masters in Theology from Northwest Baptist Seminary.  Pastor Powell brings extensive and ongoing experience as a Senior Pastor of Living Grace Ministries where he has served since 1981.  He is a volunteer faculty member of Tacoma Bible College.

                                    Pastor Scott Robinson
                                    Pastor Robinson’s academic achievements include a Bachelors in History from Williams College, Williamstown, MA, and a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Tacoma Bible College, Tacoma, WA.  Pastor Robinson brings pastoral and missionary training to TBC, having pastored churches in the North Shore of Boston, MA, Scarborough, ME and the country of the Netherlands.  He has served on the faculty of two Bible colleges for over 25 years.  Pastor Robinson is pursuing a Masters Degree of Ministry at Luther Rice University.  He currently serves as the Student Dean at Tacoma Bible College.
                                    Pastor Elliot Taylor
                                    Pastor Taylor received his Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Tacoma Bible College.  He is currently enrolled at Northwest Baptist Seminary where he is pursuing a Masters in Divinity.  He recently joined the faculty of Tacoma Bible College on a voluntary basis.
