Today, like never before, the world is in need of objective truth, without which individuals and society are lost to understand the purpose and significance of life. Tacoma Bible College is founded on the premise that only God, through His Son, Jesus Christ can offer objective truth. The Bible clearly declares that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. As we learn of Him through academic study of the Word of God, fellowship and discussion, and practical application through ministry service experience, we build a foundation of truth on which to base the rest of our lives.
But you may ask, "Why Tacoma Bible College?" We believe that TBC offers unique advantages and experiences that may not be found at other bible colleges; a blend of international, national and regional students; a faculty primarily composed of volunteers educators who continue to work in ministry or the secular work place on a daily basis, bringing their faith into the world and their experiences into the classroom; and a Christian Ministries program that combines ministry mentoring with hands on service experience. Through this program the student is encourage to take what they are learning in the classroom into the real world, dealing with real people with real problems and real needs.
TBC is not a sterile academic bible college with an exclusive objective of high academic achievement. Our curriculum, which strives to blend Biblical academics with practical application, has been proven through the years to be one of the most effective programs in establishing Biblical convictions, knowledge, and study habits that prepare a person for a life of Christian service. As a result of this emphasis, TBC has graduated many missionaries, Pastors and active lay people that now serve locally, nationally, throughout various parts of the world.
We, the Faculty, Staff and Students of Tacoma Bible College (TBC) are excited to be able to introduce you to the wonderful work of God that is happening here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
